N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is a derivative of the amino acid cysteine. It is used by the body to produce glutathione, a powerful endogenous antioxidant. NAC offers numerous health benefits, such as liver protection, a reduction of inflammation and enhancement of cognitive function.

NAC and cysteine are antioxidants in their own right, but they also stimulate the release of glutathione, a powerful antioxidant that fights inflammation and free radicals.*

Augmented NAC expresses the beneficial properties of N-Acetylcysteine, enhanced by the use of innovative technology applied during capsule production. The enhancement is reflected in its antioxidant, detoxifying and many other capacities, while the dosage is reduced to a third (only 200 mg per capsule), helping those with possible intolerances.

Augmented NAC acts synergistically with other dietary supplements and vitamins – as demonstrated in laboratory tests – also increasing their expression and allowing dose reduction.
